Maxime Doliveux

Background

Before being admitted to the Bar, Maxime Doliveux served for nine years (2017-2026) as a public prosecutor, successively in Tours, with the Principal Public Prosecutor at the Paris Court of Appeal and then at the Court of Cassation, and as an anti-terrorism deputy chief prosecutor. He has extensive experience in criminal matters, including serious and organised crime cases, and was responsible, for more than four years, for press relations and crisis communications for the judiciary.

Practice

His practice covers the defence of individuals facing criminal proceedings, as well as the representation of victims, across the full spectrum of crime, together with the conduct of litigation communications in high-profile cases. He also practises in sports and art law. His experience gives him, in every case, a precise reading of procedural mechanics and of the media dynamics that may accompany them.

Teaching and publications

A multiple prize-winner during his studies, he has been teaching for more than ten years. He has lectured at numerous universities (including Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and Bordeaux), as well as at Sciences Po, the École normale supérieure (ENS) and the French National School for the Judiciary (ENM). He has served as a jury member for the Grand Oral of the entrance examination to the Regional Bar Training Centres (CRFPA).

Sirma Guner

Background

A member of the Paris Bar since 2016, Sirma Guner practised for several years in law firms before founding her own practice in 2022, and later joining ARX as a partner.

Practice

Her practice has led her to act in a wide range of disputes in criminal law, civil law and business law, for a client base of private individuals, executives and companies, before all courts of general jurisdiction.

She defends her clients' interests and supports them at every stage, from initial advice to oral argument, including negotiation and amicable settlement.

Beyond litigation, she advises companies on a day-to-day basis throughout their life cycle, from incorporation to the winding-up of their business, including the management of any difficulties they may encounter.

Multilingual, she advises and assists French and international clients, particularly in matters with a cross-border dimension.

Education and teaching

Sirma Guner holds a Research Master's degree (Master 2) in healthcare law and medical liability from Université Paris Descartes.

She has taught family law at Université Paris Descartes and served as a jury member for the Grand Oral of the entrance examination to the Regional Bar Training Centres (CRFPA).

Victor Billebault

Background

A member of the Paris Bar since 2016, Victor Billebault founded his own firm in September 2017, which he led until joining ARX as a partner.

He has been associate counsel before the International Criminal Court since 2025.

Alongside his legal practice, Victor Billebault is a reserve captain.

Practice

His work is primarily devoted to litigation: he represents his clients (private individuals, business owners, companies, associations) before all civil, commercial and criminal courts, with tailored support and an unwavering focus on his clients' interests.

Trained in mediation at IFOMENE, he also assists his clients in mediation and conciliation proceedings.

He further advises his clients on matters ranging from contract drafting and company formation to overall strategic counsel.

Education and teaching

Victor Billebault obtained his law degree from Université Paris Descartes in 2010 and his Master's in business law and taxation from Université Panthéon-Assas in 2012. A multiple prize-winner at Université Paris Descartes, he was also awarded a prize by the Chancellery of the Universities of Paris in 2012.

He was awarded his certificate of aptitude for the legal profession by the Paris Bar School (EFB) in 2014.

After several years teaching at Université Panthéon-Assas, in 2015 he became a trainer in business law and white-collar criminal law at the National Intelligence and Investigation Training Centre (CNFRI) of the French gendarmerie.
